This is an exhilarating trek where most of the trekking days are 5-6 hours long, sometimes up to 8 hours. You steadily gain altitude, and the trek is carefully paced to allow your body to adjust to the altitude. The paths and tracks are a mix of wide, relatively even and well marked main trails, to more alpine style footpaths on the higher hills. The trekking is sustained with rest days built in to allow acclimatisation.
